Fees and Costs
To be a member of Ellon Sub-Aqua Club you need to pay yearly ESAC fees, and also be a member of the British Sub-Aqua Club.
Ellon Sub-Aqua Club membership – £85 per year
British Sub Aqua Club membership – see table below, for example a standard qualified Ocean Diver would pay £71.00 BSAC fees per year (includes insurance, monthly magazine, other member benefits and discounts – see the BSAC website for more information)
Ocean Diver Trainee (beginner) fees £400 which includes:
- Ellon Sub-Aqua Club membership fees
- British Sub-Aqua Club membership fees
- All instruction from our qualified volunteer instructors (which helps keep costs down)
- All training materials and a copy of the BSAC 88 and Nitrox tables
- Use of all equipment that you need to qualify
Further training costs
Digital training packs for each additional qualification eg Sports Diver £40.50
Skill Development Courses ~£35 per course
Equipment Rental – if you need to rent equipment from the club after qualifying there will also be an additional small charge:
